A Sorority I Never Pledged...

Truthfully, no one really wants to be part of this club.  A month ago, I wouldn't have been able to fathom the turn my life just took.  To come off a pandemic, while still having some long-haul covid effects, and then get hit with breast cancer?  But from my first phone call to the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, I have been treated with so much kindness. There are people helping me navigate this every day. In fact, I have my own personal "Cancer Concierge" who I am incredibly indebted to.  Cindy, my Nurse Navigator From Penn is a godsend.  She makes all my appointments for me and I have her cell phone number with an open invite to call her any time, any day.  I will share all the fabulous resources I find so they can help you, too!
